Robotics Program
Flagstone State School – senior school are pleased to offer a LEGO® Robotics program to selected students in year 4. In our core robotics program using LEGO® - Mindstorm, our students will learn the engineering concepts behind simple machines (how axles, pulleys and gears work, etc.) as well as elementary concepts of computer programming – all in a super fun environment involving LEGO®! This program is also designed to encourage more people to pursue careers in the sciences (computer, mechanical, physical, engineering, etc.) and part of the STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) initiative.
The LEGO® Robotics program will be run during class time on Fridays. Students who demonstrate a keen interest and aptitude will be offered a place in the program. Please note that spaces are limited.
