Discipline Audit

In 2013, the Queensland Government introduced comprehensive audit requirements for state schools in the area of discipline.

To ensure that a consistent and evidence-based audit process is maintained across the state, the Discipline Audit Instrument was developed by the Department of Education, Training and Employment and is firmly grounded in research, with strong links to the Teaching and Learning Audit Instrument, incorporating five domains.

Showing foresight and initiative, Flagstone State School volunteered to complete the audit process, as we strongly believe that clear and consistent school discipline is an essential component of a high performing education system. The audit is an excellent opportunity to provide school staff and parents with an unbiased snapshot of the school's journey in building discipline, and where there are opportunities for improvement.  The results of the 2014 Discipline Audit , Executive Summary and Parent Facts are now available for your perusal.
