Flagstone State School Cross Country Carnival
Thursday 21st March, 2019
During Week 8 of this term we have our annual Cross Country Carnival. We encourage every student to compete, whether it is to race, jog or walk. The first 20 students in each age group will receive points towards their House when they finish the course. Harmony Day also celebrated if child can wear orange token e.g. ribbon or wrist band only.

10:00 – 11:00am            11 & 12 Years               3000m for students that are competing for district representatives, age champion and place medallions.

Uniform: Students are allowed to wear their house colours or school sports uniform. Appropriate enclosed footwear must be worn. Students must have a wide brimmed hat or school hat, sunscreen and a water bottle.
Trainings: All students will be taken through the course during their HPE lessons in Week 6 & 7. If you would like your child to train for this event Miss Thompson and other staff will be providing trainings during the Meet and Greet time (8:15 – 8:50am) Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning on the 26, 27 & 28 February and 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19 & 20 March (Weeks 5, 6, 7 & 8).
